Nest of July

Motif of this artwork is a crumbling bird's nest. The nest is a symbol of what nurtures and protects life regardless of the creature. July in my country is the peak season for bird's nests, but unfortunately there are some nests that collapse due to natural disasters or attacks from natural enemies. I found a collapsed nest one day. A symbol that nurtures life can collapse so easily. The driving force behind my work is the real feeling of danger, crisis, ephemerality, and sadness.
