“Haut les cœurs” is an old French expression meaning “Courage!” or “Hearts up!” — a powerful call to move forward with strength and determination. This composite photograph perfectly embodies that spirit. Three united figures stand tall in vast vineyards, torches raised high toward the sky, facing a weathered stone ruin. The image becomes a striking metaphor for resilience, collective courage, and the will to carry light through time and uncertainty.
First exhibited in November 2023 during the group show Reflecting the Collective Soul at Ninfa LABS, Milan, Italy. Selected by artist, creative director, and curator Kirill Pobedin (Bali Art Residency — The Frame Society — Callisto). A portion of the proceeds from this sale will be shared with Kirill to support his ongoing work championing emerging artists.
