"Things will change" they always do, even this feeling too - Our experiences are never singular and in this artwork I explore the ideas I have on freedom, how that connects to power and our mortality as we fly through a vast, as of yet (maybe always) unknowable universe.
Freedom to you is a vanitas artwork, touches on imperium, asks you the viewer what freedom means to you through a tapestry of absurd maximalist detail and lettering, texture, symbolism, mark making, & the blunt force of emotion.
