Parakeet Confrontation

Parakeet Confrontation is part of the ITHAKAS collection. Inspired by the distinctive green plumage and sharp calls of the ringneck parakeet, now a year-round resident in his South London neighbourhood, Leo has created a series of watercolour collages. Combining expressive painting with digital techniques, he layers hand-painted works to create a series of unique collector’s items. The collection is a metaphor for our own human journeys, from travelling across continents for a better life to journeying within ourselves to find our truth. As we face the unpredictability of what lies ahead, we can learn that every experience is a step closer to understanding our destinations or destinies. For more information, see leocrane.co.uk/parakeets. For the primary sale, each NFT comes with a limited edition giclée print (pigment-based inks on archival quality paper), A3 (297 x 420 mm). Each print is signed and numbered by the artist.
