Sheltered by love

A familiar stranger, a sadness I can feel. What I see is not me. Those eyes remain kind, despite the void within. Still kind, hanging on a hope believe. Who am I to others, who am I to be? I’m taking my shadows out for a dance, hand in hand, taking this chance to heal. I’ll take care of them, I’ll take care of me. Taking this chance to cry, laugh, feel, to live. Breath deep, I find solace, a liability heart, a story to be told. A world I've never owned. I’ll be made of love. I'll shelter myself free.
