Arcs Catenaris: L'Eco de l'Arquitecte Gaudí (Casa Batlló)

Gaudí was born in Reus, and as a tribute to the centenary of his death, I have created a collection of eight artworks inspired by his profound connection with nature. This piece is a portal into the living essence of the attic spaces of Casa Batlló. The work dissolves the boundaries between the body and space, transforming the face into an interior architecture. The catenary vaults, inspired by Gaudí’s vision, not only support the building but also hold its memory and identity. Architectural void becomes an intimate space where the human being inhabits their own emotions, and beauty emerges from the balance between structure and sensitivity. In this way, architecture ceases to be merely a physical shelter and becomes instead an inner landscape of consciousness.
