Another exploration within the theme of 'Defleshed: mode', this piece depicts the varying states of upload and digitisation of the person - the soul.
This particular piece depicts an online persona gone awry, when the person is swallowed whole by digitisation and they lose their sense of purpose and true character.
This artwork began in ZBrush as a 3D sculpture, before being put through its own breakdown in to total digitisation via Cinema 4D, After Effects and finally Photoshop.
The essence of the beginning remains, but the process has taken its toll. No accidents, this piece was a concept I carried through to its end.
