A big part of this the meaning behind this collection existing, and on the blockchain is that the majority of these images have never honoured, this is me honouring these as art. Honoring all the hours and spent, risking safety and that of the equipment needed to capture the best athletes on the planet, being acrobats in and around some of the craziest waves on the planet. With the advent of social media and free marketing the surf industry has gone through a radical change where my work has been completely devalued or stolen. A off sudden it not financially viable to pursure as a career within the 3 billion dollar industry that ceases to exist without the creative who everyone at some point has seen. These images are my legacy. Ive grown fatigued with wasting my time with the surfing industry but have not stopped documenting.
