Some things survive every form of translation.
We move through loss, memory, love and separation carrying fragments of one another with us.
Technology changes the language, but not the need to remember.
What the Code Could Not Erase is about what remains when an intimate experience is transformed into digital matter. The figures inhabit a world that seems to be continuously forming and dissolving, as if memory itself were being rewritten.
I wanted technology here not as a symbol of the future, but as a vessel for something ancient and deeply human: our desire to preserve what disappears, to give form to what we cannot hold, and to leave traces behind.
