The last years of my life, I learned to pacify myself.
I decomposed myself into average Ikea boxes and average "Thank you" letters. I took from myself all the homeless, unbridled, spontaneous and restless I had and filtered out of it all too poisonous, bad-smelling emotions that had lain in centuries-old ice floes. I used to throw these emotions and wound, take aim and kill to the ground.
Myself and others.
In this beautiful hysteria of life, in addition to destruction, there was a lot of creation. There was some certain depth and I was its measure. There was so much inner art, which spat out of me in small pieces of sugar sometimes. But I had to learn to coexist with the world and I turned off this tap of emotions in myself.
And eventually even sealed it.
I am pleased with my progress, I have come very far in this coexistence, empathy, understanding and restraint.
But now I'm sitting here and thinking, one of these days I need to gather my strength and open this tap again. Something went lost in me without it. Something important, wild, original of mine was left without air.
And so I torment and torment myself in front of the mirror, missing a few important wrinkles in my face.
But hey, glory to technical progress!
I bought a special filter for the tap.
Very soon I will dare to put new water in your ears again. And then I will sit with a cigarette and watch how the filter smoothly fishes out only "Correct & Environmentally Acceptable Dramas" from the stream of me.
