In 1534, as the international slave trading soared, the Mandinga and Fula tribes, from Guinea joined forces to unite into a single army against the Portuguese. This event, known as the Mandinga-Fula Uprising was the first of many combats faced by European countries who were profiting from the promising business of human slavery.
Historians point that if it wasn't for the Mandinga-Fula Uprising and the following battles, the international slave trading could have lasted another 300 years or so, leaving deep and unrepairable consequences in our society.
