The new series "shadowland" started in 2022 tries to bring three-dimensionality into photography. It runs parallel to my other series and connects in particular to the "Lost " series.
It shows interiors an their inhabitants ( Here you see a celebrated actress who only gives her performances on full moon ) that are similar to cityscapes and represent a stage. It is as if one would go from the streets into the interior and everything would change when you meet these shadow creatures. Mysterious spaces that seem like dream views become the impulse for stories in a world of shadows and light. There is nothing more. All that remains is light and shadow and the stories that take place in between.
