I created this photograph while delving into issues of self-identification within my inner world: the conflict between the "inner self" and the "outer self" that leads to a disruption of the sense of one's own wholeness and significance. A series of endless questions I asked myself—questions that remained unanswered for a long time. "Me and Myself" is a way to look at these questions from an external perspective and find an answer to the main question: "why do I avoid the possibility of being myself?". I think it's important to look at oneself from an outside perspective.
The photo was taken using a technique that imitates my eye disease associated with image separation at long distances.
