Invincible Under The Sun

This work portrays the pursuit of the sun, embodied as a crowned figure seated upon the Earth and radiating twenty-eight rays, a number echoing the artist’s age at its creation. Around it, six figures wrestle with glory and downfall. The gilded king rises nearest to triumph yet stands at the brink of collapse. Others fall back into defeat, endure in stability, or burn brightest only to break forever. One turns away, consumed by vanity and the cost of sacrifice, while another has become nothing but a skeleton, the death awaiting all who strive too far. Together they form a cycle of ascent, collapse, and ending, while above them the sun remains untouchable. Invincible.
