In "Who the Fuck is Dom Barra?", the artist embarks on a captivating provocation through his statement of non-ownership and non-authorship, intertwining a juridic declaration and the artwork to challenge conventional norms in a controversial digital narrative. This non-work of art disrupts established notions, introducing conflicts that dissect the core of artistic intent. Barra's deliberate fusion of a digital signature within the text and a cryptographic signature on the NFT sparks a paradigm shift in redefining authorship and ownership. Acknowledging file duplicability, he navigates the complexities of authenticity in our digital age. The NFT, signed through a crypto wallet, introduces layers of complexity, questioning the coexistence of blockchain's non-fungible nature with file duplication. Barra, amidst these paradoxes, formally recognizes the legal framework, affirming exclusive rights, ownership, and authorship to the original creator, casting an intriguing shadow on the authorship and ownership of the NFT that he has minted and the non-work he declares of not having made, a declaration signed and dated. "Who the Fuck is Dom Barra?" is an invitation into the evolving realm of digital art, a thought-provoking journey blending intellectual property, ownership, and artistic intent on the contemporary canvas of blockchain. The question now is, where is the declaration we are discussing? That's for the future owner and public to find out.
