Design:Indigenous graphics and body paintings are composed by living elements, historically used in wars, rituals, handicrafts. Today such elements are used in the world of fashion, architecture, ceramics among others. Each painting represents the identity, hierarchy and occupation within the tribe and also the movements and forms of the animals around it. The URUCUM fruit produces the red pigment and the JENIPAPO fruit extracts a black pigment. Geometric shapes represent the lineage of the serpents, dreaded and respected by the tribes.
