In between. We tend to associate corporate business, with someone wearing a tie and suit, looking presentable, working an office job. Ties are a form of symbolism. I wanted to create a polarity with this concept. We created a skirt made out of ties, got some hangers and a briefcase and made a trip to Sedona. A place of powerful energy, nature and transmutation. Styling a young woman with this outfit, briefcase in hand, and hangers stacked around the body, we flipped the "business man" paradigm around. Tie - ing it all in with a beautiful shot of nature, the red rocks, a natural wonder. Photo-based, mixed media, traditional and digital processes used.
