Falling Between the Cracks

In this work, the portrait resists coherence. The figure appears only to disintegrate, her image caught in a fragile state between formation and collapse. Layers of saturated pigment and digital erosion stage a dialogue between beauty and disappearance, suggesting that identity itself is never fixed but always emergent. What begins as a likeness dissolves into painterly abstraction, a visual record of the machine’s faltering attempt to hold memory in place.
