Iceberg

The constructed formations in this work resemble an iceberg but do not necessarily depict one. It is a commentary on the building blocks of the physical world; whether those be architectural man-made units or natural structures. The difference, perhaps, is only a matter of perspective. The work is from a larger series called Contracielo that explores a world beyond the horizon where the artist suggests that a cosmic balance exists and is able to cast new shadows upon the unpredictable reality of life below the horizon; enabling a reconstruction. The viewer is abstracted from the present moment and connected to creativity through observation and appreciation of the natural order. The artist says: “Let's ascend our minds and thoughts, taking them to a level where through effective and focused observation we reach the state of power reigned by creativity, where internal dialogue stops and gives way to true present where the connection with consciousness is experienced.”
