2024ctBrick

2024ctBrick acts as an antipodal bookend to my 2016 Blockchain genesis piece PEPEBRICK. Born out of a period of personal insecurity and trepidation at entering a new and daunting artistic space, this vulnerability was highlighted by the inclusion of the phrase "First I was afraid, I was petrified". 2024ctBrick uses the PEPEBRICK motif to look back on my almost 8-year blockchain-art journey since and reflects the gilded armour of confidence built up during this time. The statement now reading "Then I was a King, I was verified" in homage to the much-loved community of artists and collectors who have provided the personal validation I’d been seeking, and verification of my status as a valued artist.
