Corpus Intelligentiae

The journey of mankind from ancient civilisation to post-humanism and beyond is cast into a new perspective with this narrative-centric composition. The opening protagonist, perhaps, at first, more machine than person is transported on a Morpheous journey through dreamscapes, memory, history, rituals and colours. The surface glitches and flickers, the body becomes bodies and symbols from many spiritual traditions emerge. Throughout each transfiguration the connecting lines that spool and snake within the images appear as pulsing veins, electronic cables or chains of jewellery. They are fragile yet strong, subtle yet powerful and amidst the plethora of imagery they are the binding threads between man and machine.
