This piece and collection embodies and exemplifies this pivotal moment of Artificial Intelligence exploding into Art and Design, and into biotech. It questions who we could become through the modifications that these technologies bring with them, and dissolves boundaries of what physical and virtual life could be. This piece was inspired by medical balloons and bulbs that can be used to alter the body and encourage natural processes like skin stretching, dilation, and even breathing. It also imagines a system to store and transport air and gasses, even fly and float, engaging a new level of mobility as we transverse between virtual and real worlds, and across infotech, biotech, and the human body-being.
