Fate: The third dream

28th June of 2012 ”The windows showed an early morning sky, and then he woke up again for the third time to start walking through the hall expecting to see someone as a light appeared to be turned on. The apartment door was open, and making his way through it meant he would have to pass through the living room, where a pair of two unknown beings were sitting on the couches. These lettuce-headed beings with feminine charm looked devilish and otherworldly, but he decided to come closer. While standing and doubting if he was actually at home, he decided, out of impulse, to swiftly touch with his forefinger the neck of the lettuce that was sitting next to him. Suddenly he started to feel a mixture of being sedated and dizzy at the same time, but what scared the hell out of him was when this lettuce started to mock and laugh with the most serene looking one, which was sitting on the other couch […] Then he know he was right but he chose to close his eyes calmly, accepting his fate while also trying to wake up but without any success. When opened, the more choleric lettuce finally talked, and with very elegant gestures and delicate tone he said: -That’s something very convenient!- then laughed soberly. -When my mother passed away I was able to put the body in the fridge for more food to eat, and it lasted for a month!-… The lettuce stopped, while its fixated gazes pierced the dreamer's soul.”
