“99 Red Balloons" is a protest art concept that frames the innocence of a child against the heavy-handed overreach of the surveillance state. In the image, a small girl wearing a mask uses her giant bunch of red balloons to block the view of a Flock camera. I wanted to deliver a bit of playful disobedience in the face of governmental and corporate corruption.
