Even the ripest looking fruit can drip with the sweetest poison ~ be careful which apple you pluck. Tree limbs bare budded With lush, dark, stark leaves Shimmer in moonlight Emerald like thieves. The allure, the desire. The resist, the approach. The pain and power, The estatic reproach. Curiosity simmers. Deep desire burns. Time stands still And yet the world turns. Fragile and fleeting.
