// THE ARTIFACT
This is not a video. This is a live, weaponized simulation contained within a single, dependency-free HTML block. It is a transdimensional artifact that requires your physical labor—friction, heat, and compliance—to function.
// THE CRITIQUE
We were promised a revolution; we were sold a receipt.
In the transition from Cypherpunk to "Blue Chip," the cryptoart movement has been successfully gentrified. We now celebrate the aesthetics of bureaucracy. We applaud the grid. We seek verification from the very institutions (Banks, Fairs, Defense Contractors) that the blockchain was architected to dismantle.
[DERIVATIVE_TOXICITY.exe]in:BROWSER is a performative rejectamenta. It posits that Minimalism in the current era is not an aesthetic choice, but a coping mechanism—a way to scrub the blood out of the source of funds. It explores the "Euphemism Engine" of the art world, where Money Laundering becomes Liquidity, and Complicity becomes Community.
// THE INTERACTION
The viewer is presented with a pristine, verified receipt.
To interact, you must generate heat (friction/mouse velocity).
Rub gently: You are complicit. The system verifies you. The grid fills.
Scrub violently: You are resistant. The thermal ink burns. The whitewash dissolves.
Your health fades.
As the paper burns, the polite fictions of the Art Market (The "Memo") are stripped away, revealing the raw, toxic substrate underneath. The audio engine, procedurally generated in real-time, shifts from a transactional chime to an industrial scream based on your level of destruction.
// THE ETHOS
This work resists co-optation by making the act of "verification" destructive. You cannot preserve the value of this receipt without destroying its truth.
You cannot reveal the truth without ruining the asset.
It is a paradox for the collector: Do you keep it pristine and live a lie? Or do you burn it down to see what you actually bought? And if in actual physical form, are you ready to accept that your lungs will be poisoned in the process?
