House of Ordinals

As we exit the second week of February 2023, the talk is all about the massive growth of Bitcoin Ordinals. Like it or hate it, fear it or embrace it - whatever you do, the fact is - it's here to stay and the future looks quite bright for those who learn the tech and carefully dip their feet into it. What are Ordinals? Ordinals is a new protocol deployed on Bitcoin, enables non-fungible tokens to be appended to Bitcoin transactions, effectively bringing NFTs to the most prominent crypto network by market capitalization. Launched in January 2023, the Ordinals project enables images and other types of data to be inscribed directly on satoshis (the smallest denominational units of Bitcoin - each is worth 0.00000001 BTC) on the Bitcoin blockchain without requiring a separate sidechain or token. JPEG images, profile pictures, projects, and pretty much any digital art can now get inscribed on Bitcoin using the Ordinals protocol. Welcome to the House of Ordinals!
