One of three unpublished works from my Folio Society edition of Arthur C. Clarke's Rendezvous with Rama, made for the book but never used on it.
Oraí isn't a word yet. It's a guess at a future word for visitor, and I didn't want to assume that future speaks English. So I worked with AI to build it from Irish, a language that was nearly pushed out of use, fusing deoraí, an exile, with aoi, a guest, and wearing the result down the way spoken words wear down over centuries.
Built with a combination of Blender and Photoshop, ink, water and paper textures.
The buyer receives a signed copy of the Folio Society Rendezvous with Rama and an archival giclée print of the work.
