A cliff I threw myself off fearlessly, a being turning that cliff upside down with its giant hands, and another creature crushed beneath the tears flowing from that being's eyes. The body weight of that creature is heavier than the combined weight of all the flowers trying to rise from the soil toward the sky. If it hears a sound that spoils its mood, it will abandon that garden and find another one to water the solidified soil in its mind, offering it love. Then, it will shape the clay with its own hands and play god, smiling mockingly as it remembers all the myths, all the religious texts it has ever read.
It will want more rain to fall upon itself than upon anyone else. Driven by this selfishness and a touch of rage, it will climb the trunks of other trees, wanting to seize their water and nutrients too. While so certain of itself, the mere shadow of a foot about to step on it will terrify it. In its cowardice, it will push its entire torso beneath the earth, feeding itself to bugs and bones with its own branches.
As it watches its own body rot in delusion and defeat, before even a few days pass, it will involuntarily start praying to transform into another flower, another insect. There is nothing else that could possibly cross its mind, for it has never felt such a massive fear, helplessness, and burnout before.
