This piece encapsulates tenacity and the victory of the human spirit. It symbolizes a trip through the depths of despair from which one emerges with a more enhanced sense of optimism.
I use black and white in my work to symbolize how emptiness and fullness, as well as darkness and light, must always coexist together.
It portrays a sense of hardship as well as the fortitude and strength needed to overcome it.
This piece serves as a testament that even in the bleakest moments, there is always an opportunity to rediscover joy and happiness
The three-dimensional star tetrahedron is made up of two interlocking pyramids. It represents the spirit or aura of an individual.
It is inspired by Perspectiva Corporum Regularium, a book on perspective drawings of Platonic solids by, Wenzel Jamnitzer
The Tower represents the gateway between the physical and spiritual realms.
The mountains represent power and strength.
The fabric represents protection and safety.
The Stairs represent the ups and downs that come with time.
From ashes and dust,
A new life begins,
Born from the fire of a fierce and trying end.
But with every step, a glimmer of hope shines,
And from the depths, a new spirit ascends.
