We are the first deserters of divine law,
banished from the heaven promised to us.
Just a cautionary tale about sin and sorrow,
nothing but flesh.
Nothing but a shadow.
But we won't be drowned, we won't be tamed,
We rise from the ashes, we shatter the chains.
Too afraid to let us fight,
fear would have switched sides.
We are warriors, we are fire,
we are light.
We are life.
And we will not be silenced.
