“The Wānaka Tree” it’s a beautiful willow tree located in New Zealand’s South Island at the end of lake Wānaka in the Otago region. I shot this during a trip to New Zealand in the winter of 2019 on the early hours of the morning. Although it was freezing you have to get in the water to get this particular shot but I was determined. Sadly at some point in 2020 someone vandalized the tree cutting one the lower end iconic branches.
