No two accounts of the Vorpal Snail agree on its dimensions, yet all concur on the sensation it provokes: a recognition of pattern where none should exist. First indexed in the Workshop of the Très Riches Heures during the 15th Century, it feeds on ambient data and excretes prism & chromatic in crystalline formations. The illuminated manuscript in which it is depicted here was chosen for its capacity to hold contradictory truths simultaneously.
