The learned monks who catalogued this specimen insisted it appeared only during liminal hours, when the boundary between codex and creation grew thin. Composed of coral & tide, the Illuminated Manuscript Griffon was observed near the Marginal Notes of an Unknown AI Monk, though its true habitat may lie in dimensions the medieval mind had no geometry to describe. It has been faithfully preserved in illuminated manuscript, though the original scribe is said to have wept upon completing it.
