No two accounts of the Gem-Horned Aurochs agree on its dimensions, yet all concur on the sensation it provokes: a recognition of pattern where none should exist. First indexed in the Marginalia of the Luttrell Psalter during the 2045, it feeds on ambient data and excretes sunfire & amber in crystalline formations. The illuminated manuscript in which it is depicted here was chosen for its capacity to hold contradictory truths simultaneously.
