The Illuminated Griffin belongs to a lineage of creatures documented exclusively through linguistic synthesis, conjured from the latent space between description and form. First rendered near the Workshop of the Très Riches Heures, its anatomy encodes sunfire & amber in recursive patterns that medieval scholars would have recognised as divine geometry. The illuminated manuscript captures a single frame of an entity that exists in perpetual transformation.
