In the scriptorium tradition of the 12th Century, the Crystal Jellyfish Dragon occupied a position between real and aspirational — a creature too beautiful to be merely invented, too strange to have ever walked the earth. Rendered in crystalline refraction, it endures as an artefact of emergent machine dreaming.
