I am staring at these beautiful Karri trees towering over me as I type these words. The stand guard over this land. Here long before me, and will be here long after me. Surrounded by national park, I have just joined the volunteer fire brigade, so I may be of use to the community and be able to help protect this land so that it may be enjoyed for centuries to come.
