Enlightenment

Visual meditation on authenticity and freedom from illusions. True healing is not power over others, but the power to be yourself. Down with pseudo-spirituality. True spirituality is about embodiment, authenticity, naturalness and presence, the ability to endure both your darkness and your light. Enlightenment is not a summit, but a refusal to race. It is allowing yourself to be imperfect and whole at the same time. It is where light and darkness cease to be enemies and simply become parts of the breath. It is silence in which you are not obliged to be anything but yourself. Inner stability that does not need applause. The body as a temple, not an obstacle on the path. Buddha as a background is a metaphor for immovable, eternal consciousness. The heart in the centre is points to the path through the senses, not through the mind. The chakras on the back of the seated figure is indicate the passage of the inner path from the roots to the top. The two figures bending over the Buddha's face seem to illustrate the moment of going beyond the limits of personality.
