"Lavender" is a composited photograph that uses color and symbolism to represent the place I grew up. In the small town in Indiana often neighborhoods clash with commercial signs and buildings. This atmosphere created a strange and otherworldly place to address tings like death, mental illness, and religion when I was a young man.
