Awakening

We often limit our own potential to expand our consciousness because of the barriers society forces us to create within our minds. Once we become aware that there’s a whole other universe to explore that might not entirely represent what we consider reality, we can set ourselves free to discover our true potential. Keeping an open mind and experimenting with different spiritual practices has allowed me to make enormous progress with inner growth, self awareness but also creativity over the years. I spent a few days staying up all night in northern Norway so I wouldn’t miss any opportunity to capture such mesmerizing northern lights. The foreground was shot on a physically challenging hike. While the view was gorgeous, I felt like it had a lot more potential, so I converted it into this dreamy aurora composite. I like to think I’m able to push myself on a physical, mental & creative level in order to create artwork that represents my vision because of the spiritual quest I embarked on over 10 years ago.
