Welcome To Antarctica - Burn III

A remastering of an older oil painting of mine of the same name. This painting was premiered at the David Apuzzo Gallery in Connecticut in 2009 as a part of a solo show titled "Welcome to Antarctica". The show dealt with a series of paintings, reflecting a barren, cold tundra. Rife with burning buildings and crashing planes, this cold hellscape used visual metaphors of isolation and destruction to tackle the topic of depression and the self-sabotage that usually accompanies it.
