The Girl with Spitting Pearl

When I was a kid, there was this creepy story about a Cinderella under a spell: every time she opened her mouth, she spat out pearls. Her stepsisters were jealous of her, so they asked the witch to cast a spell on them too. Given their known wickedness, however, they received a very different spell: every time they opened their mouths, they spat out frogs, toads, and snails. \\ The girl with the pearl earring has always reminded me of this Cinderella, such a sweet and minute mouth, whose words are real pearls of wisdom.
