Exploring the potential of AI for music composition, David Kamp experimented with a neural network to generate original music. The system was trained with a massive corpus (thousands) of existing music pieces. It then used that data as input to create new music compositions. The piece LULLABY, only available on SuperRare, is rendered from the system's unedited MIDI output (tempo, pitch, note duration, velocity) using a virtual toy piano instrument.
