In this collaboration Pindar Van Arman worked with one of his painting robots to paint both a childhood photo of my sister Rose and an original photo from my fathers rose garden. The robot painted over the course of 7 full days where it made 39,986 autonomous brush strokes. The entire painting process was time-lapsed and used by roses to animate and color the final digital work. In Loving Memory R.E.Y.
