“Forest Summoning” — Alex Howard Feb 2021. 1920px w. 1080px h. 244 frames. 24fps. 38,672,726 bytes. Tools used: C4D, Octane, AE. A ritual held beneath an ancient canopy of sequoia trees. A great creature mutters guttural chants that reverberate off the brass walls of its pyramid head piece. The air is charged with electricity, as if lightning is about to strike. Forest spirits flood the air. How different are we from a strange ritual? Our consciousness already moves from our fingertips through data streams. Our spirits are already captive within metal servers.
