In the spirit of open source, he released the authoring files for others to freely use and repurpose. They have since been downloaded well over 40,000 times, seeding the proliferation of astronaut artworks that subsequently flooded Instagram and crypto platforms. Minted from the original as a unique NFT, this is the OG Astro. Rendered as a looping video, it captures an astronaut in a slow motion tumble through space, musing on the isolation and solitude of the artist's practice.
