A Hole in Speech

The appearance or imposition of something enigmatic, repetitive or circular—in which nothing is said about private experience—can be like holes in speech and language. A point of subjective impossibility where language fails, and some Thing appears. In this scene there persists an ambiguity of “procreator” and “procreated”. The figure continuously (re)expunges itself orally, in which one shrivels up and collapses into a small hole, while the other is set back up to do the same task eternally. This loop was animated in 3D, with sound design by the musician Mental Arson.
