Borgraiser

Borgraiser is one of the entries in my ULTRABORG series. Done in 2017, it is both a self portrait and a dark sci-fi exploration influenced by H.R. Giger, Hellraiser and Terminator. The scull shape was sculpted out from 3D scan data of my own head leaving only the lips which either look like a sad smirk or a smile depending on the camera angle. The shoulder pieces inspired by SpaceX grid fins after visiting SpaceX on a factory tour more than 5 years ago.
