"Summer Forest" is a piece from my "Rainy Days" collection. Taking inspiration from the world around me and memories shared with my partner and dogs. I wanted to create a moment of happiness I experienced while out hiking one Summer morning. The rain fell in huge blobs. The air was filled with a pleasant, woody fragrance as the drops burst on the thick forest floor. With this piece, I wanted to transport the viewer to that moment, standing in the sunshine watching the rain fall.
